Καραπούλιος Γιώργος

George Karapoulios is the Learning Manager at the CoE Talent and Development at Metlen Energy and Metals. With a career spanning in two decades, George started as a Sales Representative at Imperial Tobacco Hellas, progressing on roles as a Key Accounts, Sales Training Manager, and Area Sales Manager for South Greece, respectively. In 2014, George moved on an international role as the Academy Consultant at the Imperial Brands headquarters in Bristol, responsible for overseeing Group's 31 Core markets in Europe, Africa and Indochina. His journey with Imperial Brands continued with a role in Marketing as the Market Planning Manager for Greece, Italy, and France, and  then as the Cluster Training and Development Manager for Southeast Europe, Israel, and Palestine. After his tenure at Imperial Brands, George brought his passion for learning and development to Forthnet, where he took over the role of the Training and Development Senior Manager. In 2021, he joined METLEN Energy & Metals, (ex.Mytilineos) , in the Human Resources General Division, initially as the Talent Acquisition and Development Manager and as of January 2024 as Learning Manager.
